Description

An affordable luxury, Purple is the latest Malbec from the 500-year-old
Lagrézette estate, located in the historic Southwest wine region of France. Named
for the rich purple color of the estate's signature Malbec-Purple is well-balanced and
supple – with generous black fruits. Sourced from limestone and clay vineyards from
the second terrace of the Lagrézette estate – the average age of the vines is 15 years.


Winemaker Notes :
Following crushing, a five-day cold maceration at 55.4°C is followed by fermentation
at 86°C with a prolonged maceration at 77.9°C to extract more color, aromas and
development of supple tannins.


Tasting Notes :
A deep purple color. In a modern, smooth style, with plush, black fruit and rich tannins,
this wine is ripe and open – revealing a modern expression of Malbec. Perfect with a
spicy and elegant meal – ideal with cheeses, red meats and international menus.

Serve between 60 and 65°F
